Merrill Gardens at Admiral Heights is a perfect combination of luxurious, independent living and personalized assisted care. Just minutes from downtown Seattle and close to beaches and urban shops, Merrill Gardens offers all the services you want–and more than you can imagine.
A friendly, walkable neighborhood
This unique community of studio and one-bedroom apartments is in the middle of a great little neighborhood called "West Seattle's Friendliest." It offers all the freedom of a single-family home–without any of the work! You'll enjoy getting out and about, going to the shops and restaurants and even walking to the pharmacy if you need to. Your rent at Admiral Heights includes three meals a day, weekly housekeeping and linen service, all utilities, except telephone and 24-hour assistance from our professional staff. Plus a host of interesting and fun activities directed by our on-site active living director.
Oh, and if you don't feel like walking, we'll drive you wherever you want to go!

Our assisted-living services focus on nurturing residents to help them reach their maximum potential. Our staff fosters independence, not dependence, and is sensitive to the individuality, privacy and freedom of choice our residents are entitled to. Care is what we do, not simply something we provide.
Personal care services
We develop individually tailored service plans that support each resident's own ability to perform activities of daily living. We might assist with any of the following activities:

Responding to change
We meet the changing needs of our residents by offering a fee structure that addresses the degree of need and frequency of interaction. A resident's monthly fee may increase or decrease as his or her needs change. Our trained staff documents the services we provide and notes trends that might indicate a higher level of need.
Teamwork
No person is an island, and each resident brings relationships with family, physicians, therapists and friends. At Merrill Gardens, we keep the lines of communication open and work as a team with a resident's existing support system to ensure his or her health and well-being and address any challenges we may encounter.
Life at Admiral Heights is what it must have been like to live in Mayberry RFD. People from the local community become your social network. The bakers at the bagel shop next door, the baristas at the cafes and the restaurant owner who gives you a special dessert because you're a regular. Just what is Anytime Dining? Exactly what it says. You dine on your own schedule, whether you're a morning person or a sleep-til-nooner. Whip up snacks or meals in your kitchenette anytime you like. Or come to the dining room for three delicious meals a day, included in your rental rate, and choose from a full menu of delectable dishes served by our expert waitstaff. Anytime.
Anytime Dining gives you flexibility, choice and the freedom to live your life as you choose. It means you won't have to plan your activities, appointments or other commitments around meal times. And you won't have to miss any meals, either. It's just one more way Merrill Gardens focuses on your convenience.
A flexible schedule
The dining room opens at 7:30 a.m. for a hot breakfast, which is available until 9:00 a.m. Continental breakfast continues until 11:30 a.m. Then throughout the day, you can drop in anytime between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. to choose from a menu of hot entrees, soups, crisp salads, fresh bread, and tasty desserts. Our meals are cooked in small batches, so the food is fresh all day!
